The rivalry between Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor got extremely heated leading up to their fight at UFC 202.
A pre-fight press conference was shut down early after the opposing sides started chucking various objects from across the room at each other.
The weigh-ins were absolutely intense with both fighters ready to get at it without any cage, referees or judges.
The two warriors battled for five hard fought rounds and as soon as the bell sounded to end the contest, the switch flipped for both Diaz and McGregor. Diaz ended the fight in top position and got up and extended his hand to McGregor after the bell rang.
This photo captures that exact moment as Diaz extends his hand to help McGregor up from the mat as “The Notorious” has a look that you wouldn’t expect after five rounds of battle and their rivaled history.
Hats off to both Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor for putting it all on the line and giving fans a heck of a fight! This article appeared first on BJPENN.COM
