Rampage Jackson: “Honestly I don’t think a person who tests positive for marijuana should be penalized in an athletic sport, because he’s already penalizing himself by taking the marijuana. It don’t enhance your performance. It kind of dulls it, in my opinion. I don’t know, I’ve never even trained [on] marijuana before. You know what I’m saying? I feel like marijuana is an herb, and it’s from the earth, and as long as it’s in its natural, I don’t see nothing wrong with it. As long as you don’t abuse it. That’s my opinion, as long as you don’t abuse it.

The toughest tournament in sports continued, as two more fighters punched their tickets to the finals. Heavyweight Rich Hale came back in a big way, flooring Thiago Santos before finishing him with ground and pound to secure a finals spot. In a featherweight tilt, Shahbulat Shamhalaev scored an impressive first round knockout against fellow striker Mike Richman to advance to the finals. Douglas Lima made a successful return, as he dominated Kobe Ortiz before finishing him late in the fight. Ryan Ford continued to shine, notching his second win in Bellator. Maui’s War Memorial Complex will play host to the evenings fight card which will include many of Hawaii’s best up-and-coming fighters. In the main event Kendall “Da Spyda” Grove is set to make his “Just Scrap” return against Chris Cisneros.
