Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino may not be getting the fight she has been asking for with Ronda Rousey, but it looks like she is on the path to bantamweight! The Invicta FC Featherweight Champion will be dropping to 140 for the company’s November event at “Invicta FC 15”. Her opponent and the date of the fight has yet to been released, but President Shannon Knapp confirmed the move to 140 on Saturday night after “Invicta FC 14”. Today, “Cyborg” appeared on what seems to be her pastor’s podcast decked out with her Invicta FC featherweight championship and a bedazzled varsity coat! Interesting choice of attire for church, but nobody is going to stop her!

In the first round of the non-title fight (due to Pannie Kianzad missing weight), they came out aggressive. It’s disappointing this fight is no longer for the title, but still, both women wanted to come out and put on a good show. They exchanged on the feet until the champ managed to get the fight to the ground. From there it was really all Evinger. She worked for an amrbar several times. She couldn’t get it, so just kept position and fired off ground and pound. The first round was all Evinger.

Former UFC lightweight and current Bellator MMA lightweight Josh Thomson trains with top UFC fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov at AKA and says that there’s no question ‘The Eagle’ will be a champ in the very near future. Khabib will return after a long layoff due to injury and face off with Tony Ferguson. Before being injured, Khabib fought and defeated the current UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos, so you can understand why he would be hopeful that if he gets a rematch he’ll be able to grab the gold.

Saturday night will supposedly be Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s final fight. He’ll be taking on Andre Berto and the fight will air on Showtime PPV, with the main card starting at 8 PM ET. Mayweather is coming in 48-0 and will look to end his career undefeated with 49 wins. He’s also coming off of the biggest fight of his career, an epic fight against Manny Pacquiao that ended up disappointing the masses. This fight isn’t necessarily a fan favorite either, with Berto coming in 3-3 in his last six fights.

At only 19 years-old, Ohio State wrestler Kyle Snyder is now the youngest U.S. world champion. Snyder won the gold medal on Friday night at the United World Wrestling Championships 2015 in Las Vegas. Going in Snyder was ranked 15th in the world and pulled a big upset in the final match, defeating defending world champion, Russia’s Abdusalam Gadisov.
