Northcutt’s trainer and father spoke with Jeremy Botter from Bleacher Report: During a recent trip to the famed Tristar Gym in Montreal, Northcutt began tiring after a few days. He has cardio for days—he can run a sub-five-minute mile, and his father says he can fight five five-minute rounds without breaking a sweat—but the pace of Tristar’s training was more than he was used to handling.

Penn and Charles Oliveira. “The Answer” Edgar remains undefeated since his 2013 unanimous decision loss to Jose “Scarface” Aldo Jr. Chad Mendes took a last minute beating TKO loss to Conor McGregor on UFC 193 in a fight that he took on very short notice for the interim featherweight title last July. Before that, Mendes knocked out Ricardo Lamas in the first round last April. Mendes has a score to settle with Edgar before he thinks about title shots.
