BJ “The Prodigy” Penn’s recent announcement to come out of retirement for a run at the UFC featherweight title has had fans on the fence on Penn’s return to the Octagon. While Penn has had the highest of highs throughout his career, he has struggled in his recent years in his bouts in the Octagon. At 37-years-old, “The Prodigy” has become a student of the game once again under the tutelage of one of the greatest MMA camps in the world at the JacksonWink MMA Academy. This alone is getting fans of Penn excited of what is to come.

Rizin hoping to book Wanderlei or Lesnar to fight Fedor

Following the triumphant return of Fedor Emelianenko on New Year’s Eve it was announced that ‘The Last Emperor’ would be looking to fight again under the Rizin banner sometime around April. Immediately there were speculations as to who Emelianenko would fight, however since the announcement we’ve heard no further details regarding the fight.

How do you think former world heavyweight boxing champion and Olympic gold medalist George Foreman would have fared in the world of mixed martial arts back in his prime? The knockout Hall of Fame legend who won the world heavyweight championship twice is regarded as one of boxing’s greats. Foreman revealed in a tweet that he feels he could have gone far in MMA if the sport was prevalent in his heyday. A fan recently asked Foreman, “@georgeforeman Sure you are asked this a bit…but if MMA was around in your time, is it something you would’ve been interested in pursuing?”

If there is one thing that UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos can talk about more than Conor McGregor, it is his own native language. The Brazilian who has been getting flack from McGregor for moving from Brazil and living in the United States to train, had a moment where he won the exchange of words over the outspoken Irish showman during the UFC 197 Press Conference. McGregor said, ““I see a man who, although he is Brazilian, does not represent the Brazilian people like he should. He brings the name of Brazil down. So I will bring the name of Brazil back up once again. Viva la Brasilia!”

McGregor repeatedly interrupted Rafael dos Anjos as he was answering questions from the media. One thing many fans were excited to hear was what the latest prediction was from “Mystic Mac.” McGregor has had a mysterious knack for predicting exactly how his fights would end.

Mickey Gall on CM Punk's UFC debut: "He's gonna be in trouble"

On UFC President Dana White’s ‘Lookin For A Fight’ series he discovered 1-0 amateur fighter Mickey Gall, who was chomping at the bit to fight CM Punk. Dana White revealed that if Gall defeats his opponent Mike Jackson at UFC 196, he would fight CM Punk at UFC 200.
