Although only 32 years of age, “JDS” has been through plenty of wars, most notably his final two bouts with rival Cain Velasquez in which he took a considerable amount of punishment.

Former UFC bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw was not very pleased when he caught wind that the UFC had booked a trilogy bout between Urijah Faber and Dominick Cruz instead of granting him an immediate rematch with “The Dominator”. The former Team Alpha Male fighter, Dillashaw, says despite his recent rivalry with Urijah he will still be rooting for the “California Kid” against newly crowned champion Dominick Cruz at UFC 199.

There was much speculation from the MMA community regarding which fighters would actually pass their post-fight drug tests prior to UFC 196, which took place earlier this month in Las Vegas. Some people, including one of Nate Diaz’s coaches, really believed that current featherweight champ Conor McGregor had been using steroids in the lead up to his UFC 196 main event welterweight showdown with the “Stockton Slugger”.

Jones was recently pulled over by an Albuquerque police officer and given five traffic citations. The UFC released the news on Monday that “Cyborg” will face Leslie Smith in a catchweight bout at 140 pounds on the UFC 198 card on May 14. Justino who usually fights at the featherweight limit of 145 pounds will debut in the UFC in front of her home town at the Arena da Baixada in Curitiba, Brazil.
