Herdman, who played Gregory Goyle in all 8 of the Harry Potter movies had his first MMA fight recently, which he won. Herdman, who is 28 years old, now looks to build on the win and pursue an MMA career while also continuing his acting career.

This past Saturday at UFC 197, Jon Jones made his return to the Octagon against Ovince Saint Preux. Jones defeated Saint Preux via unanimous decision to claim the interim light heavyweight championship. With Jones’ win many were expecting the UFC to book Jones vs. DC II at UFC 200 to replace McGregor vs Diaz II, however Jones may be sidelined for quite some time.

The rivalry between Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier heated up at UFC 197, even with Cormier out of the fight against Jones due to an injury. Cormier sat ringside doing color commentary alongside Joe Rogan and Mike Goldberg for the main event UFC interim light heavyweight title fight between Jones and Ovince Saint Preux. With Jones’ unanimous decision win over Saint Preux, Jones and Cormier will get to settle their differences in the Octagon next for the undisputed title.

In the main event of UFC 197, Jon Jones defeated Ovince Saint Preux to claim the interim UFC light heavyweight championship. While Jones seemed extremely gun-shy throughout the fight, he explained post-fight that the late change of opponents threw him off, and he would look better when he fought Daniel Cormier. While Jones stated that he felt like he could go another 5 rounds after the fight, corner-cam audio captured his head coach, Greg Jackson, criticizing Jones’ power-lifting regimen after round 5.
