Jaradchai eyes fourth straight knockout victory against Othman Rhouni at ONE Friday Fights 161

Jaradchai Maxjandee headlines ONE Friday Fights 161 against Othman Rhouni in a flyweight Muay Thai matchup on Friday, July 10, inside Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. The 18-year-old Thai carries a perfect record and a shot at a US$100,000 contract into the biggest fight of his career.
Since debuting on the weekly series in April 2025, Jaradchai has finished every opponent he has faced. His first win came via a body kick after a flying knee dropped Petwanghin Lookpayakraipakdee.
A second flying knee ended his next fight in the opening minutes of round two. His third victory was his fastest yet, a head kick that put Thant Zin away in the first round.
That win came against his first foreign opponent inside the ONE Championship ring, and the moment carried extra significance for the teenager.
“I came in ready to trade hands with Thant Zin. My goal was a quick finish because I really wanted that bonus again. So, when I saw the opening, I just took it,” he said.
“Getting my first win against a foreign fighter in ONE felt amazing, like I’ve finally unlocked a new level. It gave my confidence a massive boost and makes me hungrier to keep this winning streak going.
“I still have a long way to go and a lot to improve. I actually want to test myself in a longer fight to see how well I can hold up and push the pace in the later rounds.”
Jaradchai Maxjandee eyes speed advantage over Rhouni
Jaradchai Maxjandee has already picked apart what makes Rhouni dangerous, and what he believes gives him the edge. The Moroccan enters off a competitive debut loss to multiple-time Muay Thai World Champion Panpayak Jitmuangnon.
That fight took place under Muay Thai rules for the first time in Rhouni’s career, a detail Jaradchai has not overlooked. He believes the adjustment favors him significantly.
“Othman is tall and throws some really dangerous punching combinations. The fact that he went toe-to-toe with Panpayak in his debut shows he’s got real skills,” he shared.
“However, for this fight, he has to switch over to Muay Thai and use the small gloves. That might give me the edge since I’m much more used to this rule set.
“I’m completely locked in for this fight. I want to secure a stable future for myself and my family. Right now, I have only one goal in mind: bringing that ONE Championship contract home.”
