Colby Covington sends warning to “f***ing loser” Nick Diaz

By Tom Taylor - July 15, 2018

Earlier this week, former Strikeforce welterweight champion Nick Diaz took to social media where he criticized the UFC for awarding Brock Lesnar a heavyweight title fight with new champion Daniel Cormier, and bashed Cormier for his fighting style.

“Sick of this all this ‘baddest man on the planet’ bs,” Nick Diaz said in his fiery post (edited for clarity). “I’ll fight for any title at any weight. [UFC] wants to make bs WWF fights with guys that fight like shit and put on an act. [Daniel Cormier] would look way worse than I do in this pic if he fought Anderson [Silva] the way I did, but instead he decided to wrestle fuck him for five rounds in front of his whole life and still almost got finished off in the last round with Silva only having two or three weeks’ notice. [Dana White] should give me this fight instead of dick chest Brock Lesnar’s cheating ass. #DontBeScaredHomie. Nothing personal, I love [Daniel Cormier] but I don’t like what he does. Constantly embarrassed for him and the sport. I started doing MMA because it’s not WWF and I’ve never put on a bs act in my life. I’m sure fans would like to see a real fight.”

UFC interim welterweight champion Colby Covington, who has admitted to being a big fan of Daniel Cormier, did not approve of these comments from Diaz.

On Sunday afternoon, the outspoken welterweight star took to Twitter where he trashed Diaz for his recent comments, and even touched on the former Strikeforce champ’s current legal troubles.

“[Nick Diaz] Holy shit I didn’t know you could tweet from prison?” Covington said in response to Diaz. “Watch your mouth when you’re speaking about the You’re only beating women these days, you ain’t beating anybody relevant you fucking loser. Shut your fucking mouth before I shut it for you… homie!”
