After it was announced that Conor McGregor would be defending his UFC featherweight championship at UFC 200, there was much speculation as to whether or not he would defend his championship against Jose Aldo or Frankie Edgar. With everyone talking about a potential McGregor vs. Aldo and McGregor vs. Edgar fight, many are forgetting about top ranked featherweight Max Holloway.

Since 2012 when Max “Blessed” Holloway has stepped into the UFC scene, he’s put together fourteen fights with the organization. Holloway (15-3 MMA) has been on a tear since losing to the featherweight champ by decision. The Hawaiian is the only man that “The Notorious” Conor McGregor did not finish, leading speculation to believe that a more experienced Holloway would fair better in a rematch.
