Current UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor recently hosted a private UFC 202 media day at his personal gym in Las Vegas to discuss his upcoming rematch with Nate Diaz on August 20. At one point “Mystic Mac” was asked to address the recently failed USADA drug tests of former UFC champions Jon Jones and Brock Lesnar, which stemmed from UFC 200, and the Irish star did not hold back:

Prior to UFC 200, news surfaced that former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones had been pulled over in Albuquerque, New Mexico and handed 5 traffic tickets. Included in the list of tickets was one for drag racing, something Jones vehemently denied. The same week, video surfaced of the encounter starting from the point where the officer began to approach Jones’ vehicle. Over the course of the 10 minute video, Jones repeatedly denies drag racing.

Current UFC interim light heavyweight champion Jon “Bones” Jones was removed from the UFC rankings over the weekend. Jones was supposed to fight current UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier in a title unification bout in the headliner of last month’s blockbuster UFC 200 event in Las Vegas, but was pulled from the card just days before the event after testing positive for two estrogen blockers.

Jones was last arrested in March for violating his probation after receiving traffic violations in Albuquerque, New Mexico. With Jones’ recent potential USADA violation, TMZ reports that “a rep for the Bernalillo County DA’s Office says the Corrections Department (who oversees Jones’ probation) has decided not to pursue a violation because his sample wasn’t collected by them or the court.”

After being pulled from UFC 200 on Wednesday for a potential USADA anti-doping violation, it was announced that USADA would be testing Jones’ ‘B sample’. While Jones and his team admitted that the odds of the sample coming back negative were rather slim, they did hold out hope for the situation. Friday afternoon news broke that the sample did indeed come back positive.
