Jon Jones has some advice for Ronda Rousey following her loss at UFC 207

By Chris Taylor - December 31, 2016

Ronda Rousey (12-2 MMA) made her highly anticipated return to the octagon in the main event of last night’s UFC 207 fight card in Las Vegas where she challenged current UFC women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes for the title she used to posses.

Unfortunately for fans of “Rowdy”, the fight didn’t go her way whatsoever, as she was overwhelmed by a barrage of early punches from “The Lioness” which led to a shocking 48-second TKO loss.

The setback marked Rousey’s second in a row and also served as her second career defeat. Ronda had suffered a shocking head kick knockout loss to Holly Holm in her most previous octagon appearance at UFC 193 in November of 2015.

Many fellow fighters weighed in on Rousey’s shocking comeback loss shortly after it occurred at UFC 207. Ronda Rousey’s mother also issued a statement shortly following her daughters loss.

Today, former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon “Bones” Jones took to Twitter where he offered Ronda some advice and added that Rousey he believed Rousey would be a champion for the rest of her life. Check it out:

Jones believes that Ronda can still beat 90% of the women’s bantamweight division and added that her next career move will truly determine her legacy.
