Stand up comedian Joey Diaz is a big fan of mixed martial arts.
The 53-year-old is a good friend of UFC color commentator Joe Rogan as the two often do shows comedy shows together.
Diaz is not just a fan, but has also been putting in the work on the mats and recently was promoted to blue belt.
Diaz shows that he has the heart of a martial artist and continues to learn the techniques and improve on his game. Diaz said in an Instagram post, “After 3 years I got my blue belt….. I still suck but I’m going to keep showing up.”
Now, what’s your excuse for not training?
