Current number one UFC ranked bantamweight TJ Dillashaw is more than upset over the recently announced bantamweight title fight between champion Dominick Cruz and number 6 UFC ranked contender Cody Garbrandt. Dillashaw is looking to rematch Cruz after the two fought a close five-round title fight at UFC Fight Night 81 back in January where Cruz walked away with the belt by judge’s split decision. Now with the bantamweight title fight between Cruz and Garbrandt taking place at UFC 207, Dillashaw is simply baffled seeing Cruz in the position he feels he should rightfully be in.

This hotly-anticipated showdown will serve as the main event of UFC 207, which will occur on December 30 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Garbrandt, of course, was not the only choice for the next crack at Cruz’s title. It could easily be argued that former champ TJ Dillashaw, Jimmie Rivera, Bryan Caraway or John Lineker deserved the shot instead.

UFC bantamweight contender Cody Garbrandt is hoping that an impressive victory at next weekend’s UFC 202 event in Las Vegas will earn him a title shot against Dominick Cruz. “He said he’s going to add to my concussion list,” Garbrandt said, referring to a recent Cruz interview with MMAjunkie. “That says to me like he’s going to try to go in there and kill me.
