Say what you will about BJJ ace and Conor McGregor training partner Dillon Danis, but the man does not lack confidence. Despite being chided his rivals fairly regularly, he truly believes he’s a future great, and isn’t afraid to share that opinion with the world.
Speaking on his Instagram on Tuesday afternoon, that’s just what he did.
“From a weak 15 year old kid with a dream to a multiple time Jiu Jitsu world champion and the hottest prospect in MMA history at 25,” Danis proclaimed.
While some fight fans are sure to debate this claim from Dillon Danis, there is no denying that his MMA career is off to an amazing start. After realizing mountainous heights in the competitive grappling world, he recently made a successful MMA debut under the Bellator banner, submitting his opponent Kyle Walker with a leg lock in the very first round.
At present, Dillon Danis is facing discipline from the Nevada State Athletic Commission, having been involved in a post-fight brawl with Khabib Nurmagomedov and his team after the Russian defeated Conor McGregor in the UFC 229 main event.
Once that is squared away, we can probably expect Bellator President Scott Coker to get his “business partner” back in the cage soon.
