“UFC 175” Results: Rousey KOs Davis in 16 Seconds, Retains Championship

By bjpenndotcom - July 5, 2014

Ronda Rousey is one of a kind. She now possesses the second fastest knockout in UFC history and the fastest championship defense in UFC history.

When Davis and Rousey met in the middle of the octagon, Rousey caught her with a right hand and a knee to the body. Davis doubled over and Rousey took her down with a judo throw. Rousey trapped Davis’ head in a headlock and repeatedly punched her in the face. Rousey landed ten shots before the referee realized Davis was out and called a stop to the fight.

By the time Alexis Davis woke back up, she started trying to take referee Yves Lavigne down! It took her ten seconds to come to and snap out of it. When Davis realized what had happened, she looked heartbroken.

After the bout, Joe Rogan asked Ronda Rousey if he would be willing to fight on the next pay-per-view in August. Rousey said she would if her scheduled knee-surgery lined up with the fight.
