“I feel fine without the TRT, maybe a little more tired. It’s hard to say this when you are in the middle of a camp because, with or without the TRT, you are going to tire yourself. I can’t say if makes a difference or not. I also wasn’t taking so much of it, I was using only the normal level.
When I was in Pride, I’ve had a lot of offers to fight on two weeks or ten days notice and I had to take them. One of the principal reasons of why I accepted this fight is because Dana White told me that I would fight for the title (if I won). My main goal is to fight for the belt and knowing that I can achieve this keeps me motivated. DC is a huge challenge and this also motivates me.”
In a recent interview with Combate.com, UFC 173’s Dan Henderson discussed his halt of TRT use and his fight this weekend.
Hendo fights for the first time off TRT tomorrow night in Vegas.Tags: Barao vs. Dillashaw, Dan Henderson, daniel cormier, Ellenberger vs. Lawler, Henderson vs. Cormier, jake ellenberger, mma, MMA NEWS, renan barao, robbie lawler, TJ Dillashaw, ufc, UFC 173, ufc news
