Dylan Andrews vs. Clint Hester added to UFC Fight Night 33 in Australia

By Chris Taylor - September 17, 2013

A middleweight bout between “The Ultimate Fighter 17” teammates Dylan Andrews (17-4 MMA, 2-0 UFC) and Clint Hester (8-3 MMA, 1-0 UFC) is the latest addition to the “UFC Fight Night 33” event set for December 7 in Brisbane, Australia.

A member of Team Jones on “TUF 17,” Dylan Andrews made it to the semi-finals of the show, before being knocked out of the tournament by Uriah Hall. Andrews would return to action at the “TUF 17 Finale,” where he scored a first-round TKO over Jimmy Quinlan. The New Zealand-born fighter was most recently seen in action at August’s “UFC Fight Night 27” event in Indianapolis, when he faced off with Papy Abedi. Andrews was able to defeat Abedi in the third-round of their fight via KO.

Meanwhile, fellow Team Jones member, Clint Hester, has also found the win column since joining the UFC ranks. After being bounced out of “The Ultimate Fighter 17” in the tournaments first-round, Hester rebounded by earning a third-round TKO victory over Bristol Marunde at the “TUF 17 Finale” in April. Hester was expected to face Cezar Ferreira at UFC 163, but was forced to withdraw from the contest due to an injury.

“UFC Fight Night 33” takes place December 7 in the Queensland capital at Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Australia.

The event is headlined by a heavyweight bout featuring Mark Hunt and Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva.
