Women’s MMA has exploded in the last few years and and is now some fan’s favorite fights to watch. However, not everyone is so thrilled about females throwing down.

Big names like Fedor Emelianenko have publicly come stated that they don’t like seeing women fight and aren’t supporters of it. And now we can add UFC founder Rorion Gracie to that list.

Check it out!

“I am old school, I don’t think women should be fighting, but you know, if she’s going to be fighting than learn from the best. Ryron’s a great coach for her, she’s very successful and I think she’s got a few years ahead of her in success. She’s very committed and very dedicated and knowledgeable in the art.”

He did say however that if she’s going to fight than it’s good that she’s working with a great coach like his son.

What do you guys think of those who say women shouldn’t be fighting? Is it just a case of being old school?
