‘UFC Fight Night 38: Shogun vs. Henderson II’ Medical Suspensions Report

Last night’s UFC Fight Night 38 event delivered all the fireworks one could expect from a Fight Night in Brazil.

But it wasn’t without its casualties.

Several fighter’s from the night’s card will be forced to serve medical suspensions for various injuries suffered during competition.

Most notably, ‘Shogun’ Rua, could be out for up to six months with a fractured nose (pictured).

The rest of the medical suspensions are as follows:

Dan Henderson: suspended 45 days with 30 days no contact
Mauricio Rua: suspended 180 days or until cleared by specialist
C.B. Dollaway: suspended 14 days with seven days no contact
Cezar Ferreira: suspended 45 days with 30 days no contact
Norman Parke: suspended 30 days with 21 days no contact
Leonardo Santos: suspended 30 days with 21 days no contact
Fabio Maldonado: suspended 45 days with 30 days no contact
Gian Villante: suspended 45 days with 30 days no contact
Michel Prazeres: suspended 180 days or until cleared by an orthopedic dr.
Mairbek Taisumov: suspended 30 days with 21 days no contact
Rony Jason: suspended 14 days with seven days no contact
Steven Siler: suspended 30 days with 21 days no contact
Thiago “Marreta” Santos: suspended 14 days with seven days no contact
Ronny Markes: suspended 30 days with 21 days no contact
Jussier Formiga: suspended 14 days with seven days no contact
Scott Jorgensen: suspended 14 days with seven days no contact
Kenny Robertson: suspended 14 days with seven days no contact
Thiago Perpetuo: suspended 30 days with 21 days no contact
Hans Stringer: suspended 30 days with 21 days no contact
Francimar Barroso: suspended 30 days with 21 days no contact
Godofredo Pepey: suspended 14 days with seven days no contact
Noad Lahat: suspended 45 days with 30 days no contact
