Rockhold: ‘It looks like Machida’s next’
An interesting middleweight bout with serious title implications is looking close to locked.
Both Luke Rockhold and Lyoto Machida showed interest in the matchup, and now, in a recent statement to MMAFighting.com‘s Dave Doyle, Rockhold confirmed that’s the fight.
“There’s a very good opportunity for that to happen real soon. I look forward to that happening really soon here. Keep your eyes peeled, I’m sure something will come up soon. It’s still the fight I want. It looks like the fight I’m going to get.”
UFC officials have yet to comment on the matchup.
