Rousey said she believes McMann lost because she didn’t want to be the champ as bad as Ronda, and that she wanted to avoid the media because she couldn’t handle the pressure it takes to be champ.

UFC veteran Matt Hamill has retired from MMA two years after returning to action at UFC 152, after that he dropped a loss to Thiago Silva before being cut by the UFC. Hamill then was signed to make his WSOF debut this Saturday, but an injury forced him out of the bout and as a result forced Hamill’s retirement. Hamill posted the following message on his Facebook:

I picked him and Newton to be the coaches of a season of The Ultimate Fighter and then I switched it. And I didn’t handle it the right way. I’ve apologized to him many times and I respect Pat Miletich a lot. I’ve fully owned up to…hurting the relationship and he deserves to be inducted and I’m excited to do it.”
