Nogueira Brothers Barely Escaped Hostage Situation

Antonio Nogueira and his brother were staying at the Saint Peter Hotel in Brasilia, Brazi. The UFC fighters were evacuated from the hotel along with the rest of the guests for what was being initially reported as a gas leak.

Globo is reporting that the story turned out to be a cover to keep guests calm, because on the 13th floor, a hotel employee had been taken hostage at gunpoint and had a bomb strapped to his chest by a Brazilian extremist who is calling for the resignation of the President of Brazil.

As of yesterday negotiators were attempting to reason with the man.
