Ronda Rousey has her sights set on Sara McMann for her next title defense at UFC 170, but who’ next in line if she successfully defends the championship? Invicta FC President thinks Cris Cyborg could be a potential opponent to Rousey’s throne in 2014.

Jonathan Snowden recently asked his followers to send him their predictions for what 2014 has in store for the world of mixed martial arts and Invicta FC President Shannon Knapp responded with this:

It seems that after every fight Ronda Rousey wins, the rumor mill starts churning and fans clamor for a bout between her and Cris Cyborg. UFC President Dana White left no time for those questions to be asked as he promptly announced that Rousey would be defending her UFC Bantamweight Championship against Sara McMann at UFC 170. The bout is set to take place on February 22nd in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Still, Cris Cyborg jumped on her Twitter account after Rousey’s win at UFC 168 and sent the champion a threatening tweet, stating: “I’m coming to get you!”

Last month, most BJPENN.COM voters thought Cris Cyborg would dominate Ronda Rousey in a fight. After seeing Rousey’s recent performance against Miesha Tate, do you think the majority made the right decision?
