Dana White Says UFC Fight Night: Dublin Was The Biggest Event On Fight Pass So Far

If you don’t have UFC’s digital network, UFC Fight Pass, then I am sorry. You missed perhaps one of the most energetic and just all round entertaining fight cards that the UFC has put on in some time. UFC Fight Night: Dublin showcased just how much the Irish fans love the sport and especially how much they love their fighters. All the home-grown fighters grabbed wins on Saturday, which only made the event that much more fun to watch. That included the main event where Conor McGregor backed up all his talk and dismantled fellow featherweight Diego Brandao in the first round to get a TKO victory.

“Tonight was a big night for Fight Pass,” White said at the post-fight media scrum. “It was the most watched prelims ever on Fight Pass, and it was the biggest number (overall) we’ve ever done.”

Fight Pass has featured some entertaining cards in its short time of being around, but none like this past Saturdays. So was it because of an amazing roster of fighters or was it because of the Irish energy and the likes of McGregor who could probably make you punch yourself in the face if you let him talk enough, the guy can sell tickets that’s all I’m saying. Time will tell what Fight Pass’s future holds, but if it can put on more shows like the Dublin card then I think it will be just fine.
