Dana White Removed A UFC Fight Night Macao Judge Mid-Event

By BJPENN.COM News - August 23, 2014

In a not-uncommon site, a couple of this morning’s UFC Fight’s were skewed with some questionable judges scores.

However, this time, with the UFC acting as their own governing body in China, the UFC boss could do something about it. And he did.

During the post-fight press-conference (Replay HERE),  Dana White explained.

“Did you ask me sir, if it was true, that a judge was removed? Yes, he was. He was involved in the first fight and the second fight. I told the guys to go let him grab some beer and some popcorn and go sit down and start watching some fights, not judging them.”

We won’t always agree with a judges scores, but is removing one mid-event the right move to make as a promoter?
