UFC Bantamweight Brian Bowles returns for his first fight in almost two years, as he sets foot in the octagon to face fellow UFC and WEC veteran George Roop.

Bowles will be looking to get back to his winning ways, as he is (10-2) with his only two losses coming to UFC Bantamweight Champ Dominic Cruz and most recently his last fight with bantamweight contender Urijah Faber. Faber was able to offset Bowles’ style with a fast pace that saw the fight come to an end via Guillotine Choke in the second round.

Roop however will be looking to make his own example of Brian Bowles as he attempt’s to continue his win streak and work his way back up the Bantamweight latter. Roop (13-9) has been on a bit of a bumpy road as he has gone 2-3 in his last five fights, and will no doubt be looking to make changes to his game, come out on top, and be taken more as a serious threat at 135 lbs.

The two will face at UFC 160: Velasquez vs .Bigfoot 2 on May 25th, 2013 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
