Bisping Injured, Machida Moved To Fight Night 30, Will Face Munoz In Main Event

Michael ‘The Count’ Bisping has been forced off the UFC Fight Night 30 card with an undisclosed injury.

In for Bisping comes, debuting middleweight, Lyoto Machida.

Machida was originally slated to face off with Tim Kennedy in the main even of the UFC’s Fight for the Troops event set for November 6th, but with the vacancy left by Bisping the UFC has moved the former light-heavyweight champion to this card.

UFC Fight Night 30 is set to go down from the Phones 4u Arena in Manchester, United Kingdom on October 26. In the main event Mark Munoz will welcome his sometimes training partner and former UFC light-heavyweight champion, Lyoto Machida, to the UFC’s middleweight division.

UFC officials stated that a replacement opponent for Tim Kennedy is currently being sought after.
