Alex Pereira was quite impressed by the performance of Dustin Jacoby over the weekend to the extent that he thinks Jacoby should find himself in the top fifteen rankings now. Jacoby garnered a win over Julius Walker with a torrent of strikes in the second stanza of their UFC Vegas 113 bout on February 7th. This extended the winning streak of ‘The Hanyak’ to three straight, with Jacoby securing all finishes across this recent stretch. Divisional kingpin ‘Poatan’ was clearly watching this fight closely as video footage showed Pereira not only viewing the Jacoby victory, but also indicating a strong level of being impressed by his former kickboxing opponent. The two competed at Glory 14 as part of a semi-final tournament clash, with Pereira halting Jacoby with his vaunted left hook during their 2014 clash.
