Brandon Moreno will not be participating in the much discussed UFC White House card. Last year, it was announced that the UFC will promote a blockbuster fight card on the White House lawn as part of the celebrations of America’s 250th anniversary. The card will occur on June 14 — President Donald Trump’s birthday — rather than the Fourth of July. It is expected to feature numerous title fights, and have higher production costs than any event in UFC history.

UFC commentator Michael Bisping believes the BMF title winner at UFC 326 could leapfrog Arman Tsarukyan in the title picture. Right now, Arman Tsarukyan is on the outside looking in at the world title picture in the lightweight division. There’s no denying that he’s an exceptionally talented fighter, but with Justin Gaethje being the interim champion, he isn’t likely to receive a crack at the gold anytime soon.

An MMA reporter has suggested that Ilia Topuria vs Justin Gaethje may not end up taking place at UFC White House. As we know, Ilia Topuria is the undisputed UFC lightweight champion. We also know that Justin Gaethje is the interim champion at 155 pounds in the wake of his triumph over Paddy Pimblett at UFC 324. As we look ahead to the future, it certainly feels like these two are on a collision course to unify the belts, perhaps at the White House, which has been heavily rumored.

UFC flyweight champion Joshua Van has claimed that he’s never properly watched Demetrious Johnson’s fights. As we know, Joshua Van is the current king of the UFC’s flyweight division. He won the belt as a result of an injury suffered by Alexandre Pantoja in their title fight and as a result, he will forever go down in history as one of the youngest world champions the promotion has ever seen. In his next outing, he will be defending the belt against Tatsuro Taira.

Brandon Moreno is just taking it one fight at a time. Moreno is set to headline UFC Mexico City on Saturday against Lone’er Kavanagh in an intriguing flyweight fight. Kavanagh stepped up on short notice, and although he is unranked, Moreno doesn’t care. Instead, Moreno is just looking to get back into the Octagon and pick up another win.

BMF champion Max Holloway believes influencer Deen The Great is biting off more than he can chew in calling out top UFC stars. Max Holloway is weeks away from returning to the Octagon to defend his BMF title against former UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira at UFC 326. Holloway will make his second BMF title defense after defeating Dustin Poirier in an instant classic at UFC 318 last year.

UFC Hall of Famer Ronda Rousey pivoted on some of her past concerning admissions about her neurological health ahead of her MMA comeback. Ronda Rousey nearly broke the internet when it was announced she’ll make her first MMA appearance in 10 years against fellow fighting pioneer, Gina Carano, in an upcoming Most Valuable Promotions main event. Rousey will return to the cage for the first time since a loss to Amanda Nunes at UFC 207.

Before Oliveira and Holloway reached the prime of their careers, they were matched up in a pivotal featherweight showdown. The bout ended rather quickly, as Oliveira suffered a micro-tear in his esophagus.

If Alex Pereira passes on the idea of fighting Khamzat Chimaev, then “Borz’s” team wouldn’t be surprised. Chimaev has yet to defend the UFC Middleweight Championship, but that hasn’t stopped him from calling for a fight with Pereira. “Poatan” currently holds the light heavyweight gold. Chimaev and Pereira have traded barbs on social media, but UFC CEO Dana White told reporters that he’d rather see the 185-pound title be defended next.
