UFC President Dana White have already had “some quality time together”, during which the pair talked about Nate’s future in the UFC. That meeting was during the final taping of TUF 20, which Diaz’s teammate Gilbert Melendez is coaching.
“Where he is and where we are – we’re not even close,” White told MMAjunkie following UFC Fight Night 48 in Macau. “I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I’ve always liked Nate Diaz. I have a great relationship with Nate Diaz and it’s not like I don’t like the kid and he’s hard to deal with. He’s just got something in his head and we’ve got something in our head.”
“I took everybody out for the ‘TUF 20′ (final taping). … Nate and I got together that night and we talked,” White said. “Nate and I got to spend some quality time together. We’ll see what happens. We were out having fun. We talked business for a little while.
“We’re going to get together when I get back in the country.”
Do you think we’ll see Nate Diaz back in the UFC?
