Seth Baczynski

Days after their punishment of Jon Jones and hours before prize-fighting’s biggest fight of the decade, UFC had to make the tough decisions to cut four of their fighters.

Seth Baczynski has been with the UFC since September 2011. Baczynski found quick success inside the octagon as he started out his stint with four consecutive victories. After he took a step up in terms of caliber of opponents, though, Baczynski lost five of his last six. His most recent loss was an eight-second knockout to Leon Edwards. MMAFighting confirmed these releases.

Former King of the Cage Champion Justin Jones’ profile was also removed from UFC’s website which indicates a fighter’s release. Jones suffered two straight losses to Corey Anderson and Ron Stallings.

Cain Carrizosa and Marcin Bandel’s profiles were also removed from the comapny’s website. Both Carrizosa and Bandel suffered consecutive lackluster losses in the UFC.

We wish all of these men luck in their future endeavors.
