UFC Fight Night 73 set with 13 bouts!

OSP Wins
The lineup is set for next month’s UFC Fight Night 73 event in Nashville.

The fight card features a total of 13 bouts and is headlined by a light heavyweight contest between Glover Teixeira (22-4 MMA) and Ovince Saint Preux (18-6 MMA).

Glover Teixeira will be looking to snap the first two-fight losing skid of his career when he squares off with “OSP” in “Music City”. Prior to his setbacks to Jon Jones and Phil Davis, Teixeira had posted an incredible 20-fight win streak that stretched from 2006-2013.

Meanwhile, Ovince Saint Preux will be looking to extend his current win streak to three in a row when he faces off with Teixeira. “OSP” was most recently seen in action at April’s UFC on FOX 15 event, where he earned a first-round KO victory over Patrick Cummins. Prior to that, Saint Preux defeated former UFC champion “Shogun” Rua via first-round knockout in November of 2014.

In the evening’s co-main event, surging lightweight contenders Michael Johnson and Beniel Dariush will throw down. Both fighters are currently riding four-fight wins streaks and will be looking to enter lightweight title contention with a victory.
