You can take the Diaz Brothers out of Stockton, but you can’t take the Stockton out of them! Born and raised in the “209”, both Nate and Nick Diaz will forever have a connection with Stockton, California.

We last saw Nick Diaz in the octagon against Anderson Silva at UFC 183. After seeing Silva put on a defensive performance for a couple rounds, Diaz took it upon himself to entertain the fans in Las Vegas by taunting and goading Silva into duking it out with him. It barely worked, but Diaz surely made the fight worth the $60. With his suspension currently in the air, there is no expected date for a Nick Diaz return to the octagon.

His brother, however, is looking to make waves in the lightweight division.

Nate Diaz has his sights set on Anthony “Showtime” Pettis for his return to the UFC. It was initially reported that Diaz would be fighting against Matt Brown in a middleweight contest, but Diaz never agreed to the bout in the first place and “UFC Tonight” jumped the gun on the news.

Whenever or wherever the Diaz brothers fight next, you can rest assured they will make their way back to Stockton to unwind.
