Looks like the UFC might have found the big fight they need to hold at AT&T Stadium (Dallas Cowboys Stadium).
UFC president first said, after UFC 189 at the post-fight press conference, that Jose Aldo vs. Conor McGregor would take place in Las Vegas, at the MGM Grand. Problem? A concert has already been booked for Dec. 5, which is when UFC 194 is planned for. The second option in Vegas would be Mandalay Bay, but that only holds 12,000, which is just too small. This is according to a report from Yahoo Sports, who cite sources close to the situation.
The stadium in Texas can hold up to 100,000 spectators, depending on the set-up. White has said that the UFC is open to go there, they would just need the right fight. Well, this one seems pretty good.
No confirmation has come from the UFC or anyone involved.
