Max “Blessed” Holloway is a Gracie Technics/Hawaii Elite team member fighting out of Waianae, Hawaii. (14-3 MMA and has been fighting with the Zuffa owned UFC organization since 2012. He’s racked up some impressive wins in his tenure, with notable wins against Andre Fili at UFC 172 and Cub Swanson at UFC on FOX earlier this year.

“I saw him in Dublin when I was up there for Louis’ (Smolka) fight and I told him when is this UFC Hawaii going down? And before he brushed me off, but now he looked me dead in the eye and said, ‘Keep doing what you’re doing kid. It’s closer than you think,’” Holloway said. “So, we’ll see what happens. I’m excited he’s talking about it more. Before, he’d brush it off. He wouldn’t even bring it up. Now he’s talking about it and saying that they have something under wraps. Holloway said.

With Holloway’s camp going as planned, the future seems bright for the young Hawaiian. Holloway has had 13 fights inside the UFC and his presence in the top 3 with his growth, fighting experience, and ability to be at the right place at the right time, is coming to fruition.  Click on the video and check it out.
