Nick Diaz: ‘I Have To Figure Out How To Make A Living’

By BJPENN.COM News - September 22, 2015

Nick Diaz is currently out of action after that controversial five year suspension handed to him by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. His legal team is expected to challenge it and look for a judicial review, but like all legal affairs, it will take time. During that time Diaz will be unable to fight from the looks of things.

The UFC fighter recently spoke with TMZ Sports and told them, “I have to figure out how to make a living.”

Diaz went on to explain how he put his whole life into fighting, forgoing other things in his life to focus on being the best he could be in the sport and now, it seems as thought the NSAC has just suddenly taken that all away from him.

“I held off on having kids and getting married so I could fight. I gave my life to this. I am a fighter. It’s what I am. A lot of guys have to worry about what their wives and kids think, I don’t. All my attention goes towards fighting, and now I don’t know if I can fight. They’ve taken it away from me.”

Let’s hope something turns around fast for Diaz and he’s able to fight again, somewhere, because that’s what he deserves, at the very least, is a chance to fight.
