Machida: ‘Rockhold Is Going to Leave this Fight Uglier’

“I hear people talking about it, but I try not to focus too much on that. I look to focus on my strategy… At that moment, beauty won’t make a difference, it doesn’t matter if you’re good looking or not. Your technique, your drive, that’s what you should carry with you. I try to become a more complete fighter everyday, so I leave that for the fans and people who enjoy that while I focus on the fight. But I know one thing, I want to leave the same way I entered. I think somebody will leave this fight uglier and it’ll be Rockhold”.

Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Lyoto Machida wants the world to know how confident he is walking into the octagon this Saturday against Luke Rockhold. In a recent interview with Combate, Machida states that he thinks Rockhold will leave the octagon uglier than when he entered.
