Join the Team! UFC Champ Chris Weidman trains for Luke Rockhold

By BJPENN.COM News - October 25, 2015

UFC Middleweight Champion Chris Weidman will be stepping into the octagon on December 12 at “UFC 194” looking to make his fourth successful defense of his title, this time against Luke Rockhold. The two are on a collision course for an epic championship fight and will serve as an amazing co main-event to Conor McGregor and Jose Aldo’s headliner.

Rockhold earned the shot earlier this year in April when he handily defeated Lyoto Machida on FOX, submitting him in just the second round. Machida was involved in a war with Weidman earlier in his career, but again was unable to capture the win. “MMA Math” is extremely unreliable, and Weidman is excited to prove that he has what it takes to beat Rockhold at “UFC 194”.

Weidman has taken to social media to post some pictures and videos of his training sessions with fellow fighter Gian Villante— the champion is looking ready! Reebok is hoping they struck gold with Weidman when he steps into the octagon on December as they just signed him to an exclusive deal.

Who do you think will walk out of the octagon with the gold? Share your thoughts in the comment section below!
