Jedrzejczyk Wants ‘Easy’ Gadelha Rematch

Joanna and Gadelha

Claudia Gadelha will be stepping into the octagon at UFC 190 in Brazil to face former WSOF Strawweight Champion Jessica Aguliar in what could be a top contenders bout. Fresh off surgery, champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk will be keeping an eye on the contest and admits she’s pulling for Gadelha to get the win.

“I think Claudia is going to win,” Jedrzejczyk said while on the MMA Hour. “I would like that.”

Jedrzejczyk fought to a controversial decision with Gadelha in December of 2014. Couch-judges believe the fight could have gone either way, but Jedrzejczyk is confident she would easily win and wants to prove that by fighting her again.

“I’m a different fighter right now,” Jedrzejczyk said. “Claudia Gadelha, she takes a few steps back. She hasn’t fought for a long time. I’m different now, I’m going to win easy this time. I”m better. Now I know I have KO power, my wrestling ia different, getting better and better. I really can play on the ground even better than before.”

Who do you think would win in the rematch? Does Gadelha have a chance?
