FOX Provides Unprecedented Support For Conor McGregor

As Sunday’s clash with Dennis Siver fast approaches, the time is now for all things Conor McGregor on FOX Sports 1 and promotionally, the FOX family of networks has stepped up with unprecedented support.  Using creative and alternative ways to raise awareness for Sunday night’s headliner, the FOX Sports marketing team collaborated with McGregor, one of the UFC’s biggest stars, to promote this weekend’s event from TD Garden in Boston.  FOX Sports 1’s coverage of UFC FIGHT NIGHT: McGregor vs. Siver kicks-off Sunday, Jan. 18 with prefight coverage at 6:00 PM ET, followed by prelims at 7:00 PM ET and culminates with the main card at 10:00 PM ET. 

Recent appearances on FOX Sports 1’s signature shows AMERICA’S PREGAME (http://bit.ly/1CcqsaY) and UFC TONIGHT (http://bit.ly/14FbmQ2) are the tip of the iceberg for the fighter known as “Notorious.”  On Saturday, Jan. 17, FX offers an afternoon movie marathon any Irishman could appreciate featuring Gangs of New York, The Fighter andTaken 2. Leading up to the fight, FOX Sports 1 offers “Conorisms,” featuring McGregor’s outspoken personality, witty quotes and larger-than-life persona fueling videos airing across FOX Sports 1, its digital properties and social media outlets.  McGregor suggests that fans just be themselves in this clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ewzCHZlaZ9oAdditionally, the network partnered with the UFC on an out-of-home takeover in Boston, including wrapping the city’s trolleys and buses [Image/Link displayed on McGregor’s facebook page here]. 

Known for his brash talk and self-confidence, McGregor voiced in-game promos to air during the FOX broadcast networks biggest NFL contest of this season, the NFC Championship Game, which is expected to have an audience in excess of 50 million viewers.
