The UFC will kick off the first of three nights of fighting in Las Vegas, NV and will feature “Thug” Rose Namajunas vs Paige “12 Gauge” Vanzant as the Fight Night 80 main-event. Namajunas has a black belt in Taekwondo, Karate and a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

A win against Angela Hill got “Thug” back on track after two straight loses against Tecia Torres at Invicta FC 6 and Carla Esparza by rear-naked choke at The Ultimate Fighter (TUF)20 finale.

Paige VanZant (6-1 MMA) has 3 wins under her UFC belt, two out of three were finishes, and her unanimous decision win was victory over Felice Herrig earlier this year. Vanzant is coming off a submission (armbar) win over Alex Chambers.
