With two title defenses already under his belt, Bellator Featherweight Champion Pat Curran will look to make it 3 for 3 in 2013 when he faces Featherweight Tournament winner Daniel Straus live on Pay-Per-View November 2nd from The Long Beach Arena. Curran vs. Straus now joins a fight card that already features King Mo vs. Emanuel Newton for the Interim Light Heavyweight Title, the rematch of 2011’s fight of the year between Michael Chandler and Eddie Alvarez for the Lightweight World Title, as well as the main event of the evening, Rampage Jackson vs. Tito Ortiz.

A trio of contests have been added to September’s “World Series of Fighting 5: Arlovski vs. Kyle” lineup, as Rick “The Gladiator” Glenn (13-2-1) meets Artur Rofi (6-0), Ozzy Dugulubgov (4-1) faces Andrew “Ozzy” Osbourne (7-5) and Sidemar “Sideco” Honorio (8-3) takes on Jimmie “El Terror” Rivera (12-1). With the additions to the evening’s preliminary fight card, the World Series of Fighting 5 lineup now includes 10 total fights.

“Vitor’s a dangerous guy. He’s got a lot of knockout power. He’s quick. He moves forward real quick as well when he closes the distance. You’ve got to be real careful with him. Sometimes mentally he doesn’t show up. Sometimes he does. You never know what you’ll get. I’m expecting to fight the best Vitor out there. And he’s been fighting well lately. It should be a good one. The first time I fought him, I just stayed in his face and controlled him. I won every round, I felt handedly. I don’t know if we got in the big slugging matches too much, but I felt like I controlled and beat him there. I’d like to do the same except for finish him this time. This is the last fight on my contract actually. I don’t know if we’re going to renew now or do it after. Either way is fine with me. I still plan on fighting three times next year. I’ve got about five fights left in me for sure, we’ll see what happens after that.”
