UFC president Dana White has stated that Ronda will most likely get an immediate rematch, as soon as she heals from her injuries.

A ONE Championship rematch scheduled for today that has been seven months in the making will not come to a realization. After a no-contest bout due to an accidental eye poke between champion Ben Askren and Luis Santos went down at ONE Championship 26 in April, the two were set to fight again Friday in Singapore. However, Santos not making weight on Thursday was a huge issue in the title fight. Askren offered to fight Santos if he were to weigh in again on fight day at no more than 190 pounds. The Brazilian again failed to make the agreed upon weight.

The truth is there is no such regulatory requirement in North America. You’d have to go to the US territory of Guam in the western Pacific Ocean (part of North America politically but not geographically) to find such a requirement.
