Cris “Cyborg” (14-1, 1 NC) is getting set to fight at Invicta FC 15 on Jan. 16 in Costa Mesa, California. Her potential opponent, Cindy Dandois (6-2) was announced by Invicta president Shannon Knapp on the Monday’s MMA Hour. Although Cyborg confirmed that there was no official bout agreement on the weight and opponent, it definitely sounds like Knapp is pushing for the bout between Cyborg and Dandois at a 140-pound catchweight, which could lead Cyborg to a fight in the UFC.

Jon “Bones” Jones is looking back on track, as of late. After legal matters that stemmed from a hit and run incident that happened last April, and eventually getting reinstated by the UFC last month, the former UFC lightweight champion is rumored to be fighting at UFC 198 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

https://youtu.be/REYcweDB3dg Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor were both on a path that was supposed to meet earlier this year at “UFC 189” in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dana White shelled out a ridiculous amount of money in advertising for the videos surrounding Aldo and McGregor’s championship matchup and it was expected to be one of the biggest events of the year. Of course, the gods of mixed martial arts decided fans didn’t deserve to see the matchup and Aldo was sidelined with a rib injury just weeks before the fight was scheduled to take place.

It was capped off with a back-and-forth contest between Kelvin Gastelum and replacement main-eventer Neil Magny in a twenty-five minute brawl that saw both men walk out with $50,000 fight of the night bonus.

Ultimate Fighting Championship made their way into Monterrey, Mexico on Saturday evening for the finale of the second season of “The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America”. The preliminary bouts which aired on UFC Fight Pass and FS1 saw some exciting finishes, but the main card left more to be desired for the viewers at home.
