Although Rousey is not known to make predictions like Conor “Mystic Mac” McGregor, her attempts to do so were not in her favor.

The former UFC and Bellator fighter who was in court on Monday for a preliminary hearing on 34 charges from ex-girlfriend and adult film star Christy Mackinday that include sexual assault and two accounts of attempted murder.

When Bellator announced that Ken Shamrock would be fighting Royce Gracie at Bellator 149 on February 19th, many fans rolled their eyes. Memes came out regarding the fight, joking that it would be sponsored by Life Alert, pointing out that the combined age of the two men will be 100 years old on fight night.

Ariel Helwani, today, interviewed the former UFC light-heavyweight champion Jon “Bones”Jones. The bullet point version is that he got in a car accident, he fled the scene and was arrested for hit and run just a month before he was set to defend his title against Anthony “Rumble” Johnson.  On September 29th, Jones had his day in court where he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to community service. In October, the UFC reinstated him. This is one of the many steps that Jones will need to take in order to retain the belt.  It’s no big secret that Helwani gave Jones an easy Q&A. Bottom line is that the UFC is a business that thrives of off the very popularity their stars provide. Clearly, the UFC would want everyone to see Jones as the “Golden Child” he once was. With a win against DC, he just might be golden again. What are your thoughts about the Jones interview?
