In just his second Strikeforce fight, Emelianenko was submitted by Jiu-Jitsu phenom Fabricio Werdum. To this day, the loss remains the only submission loss on Emelianenko’s record. Now, following a successful return to MMA on New Years Eve, Emelianenko is looking to avenge his loss to Werdum, who is now the UFC heavyweight champion.
