ONE Fight Night 20 to celebrate International Women’s Day with all-female headliners

ONE Fight Night 20 on Prime Video will captivate audiences on International Women’s Day 2024. It features a spectacular lineup headlined by two ONE World Title bouts.

Phetjeeja

This live spectacle airs in U.S. primetime from the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on March 8.

The main event plays host to the ONE Atomweight Kickboxing World Title unification bout. It pits lineal champion Janet Todd against interim titleholder “The Queen” Phetjeeja.

Todd, 38, stands as one of the best pound-for-pound strikers in the world today. She’s also a veteran of nine matches in ONE Championship.

Following a four-fight stint in Muay Thai that saw her hold the sport’s interim atomweight crown, “JT” now returns to kickboxing to defend her divisional gold.

On the opposing side is Phetjeeja. She’s a rising star who has seamlessly carried over her Muay Thai brilliance to the kickboxing rule set.

With an impressive five-fight winning streak in 2023, “The Queen” culminated her year with a remarkable victory over Anissa Meksen. There, she captured the ONE Interim Atomweight Kickboxing World Title.

At ONE Fight Night 20, Phetjeeja has the opportunity to take her career to the next level. She can do this by beating the most high-profile opponent she has yet to face.

Allycia Hellen Rodrigues defends gold against Cristina Morales

Meanwhile, ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion Allycia Hellen Rodrigues defends her gold-plated belt against Cristina Morales in the co-main event.

After a hiatus due to the birth of her child, Rodrigues made a triumphant return last year. She routed none other than Janet Todd in a highly anticipated unification showdown.

She then ventured into the strawweight Muay Thai division. There, she challenged Smilla Sundell for the crown, albeit unsuccessfully.

Now back at her natural weight, the Brazilian looks to begin her road to redemption by prolonging her stay on the throne.

However, Rodrigues is expected to have her hands full versus Morales. She has turned heads with her high-octane fighting style.

Most recently, Morales silenced the crowd inside the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium by scoring a first-round stoppage of Thai phenom Anna “Supergirl” Jaroonsak.

Now, Morales steps up to battle Rodrigues, presenting an exciting clash of styles.
