Michael Bisping scored the biggest win of his mixed martial arts career this past weekend in London, when he defeated former UFC champion Anderson Silva via unanimous decision. Shortly after “The Count’s” upset victory, former UFC title challenger Nick Diaz took to social media to post a meme insinuating that Bisping should have actually lost the fight.

UFC veteran Nick Diaz has had a long history with fighting. Ever since he was a kid growing up in a rough part of California in his hometown of Stockton, the bad boy from the 209 says that fighting always found him. Diaz recently did an interview with High Times about growing up fighting and how contrary to what many people might think of him, says that he is not a violent person.

There was much reason for UFC heavyweight Derrick Lewis to celebrate after UFC Fight Night 82. Lewis won by TKO in devastating fashion over Damian Grabowski in the first round of their fight. Lewis took to the club after his win over Grabowski and found a friend in Nick Diaz to celebrate with. Lewis snapped a photo of the two MMA veterans and posted it to Twitter with the caption reading, “I promise we didn’t fight anyone last night.”

It was a breath of fresh air after the Nevada State Athletic Commission came to a settlement on Nick Diaz’s suspension and fine on Tuesday. The commission who previously had a five-year suspension and $165,000 fine slapped on Diaz for testing positive for Marijuana in the state for the third time reduced the penalties on Tuesday. Diaz’s reduced suspension will allow him to compete again in August 2016 and his fine was reduced to $100,000.

It looks as if Nick Diaz is a big fan of Leonardo DiCaprio, who recently won the Golden Globe Award for best actor in his work done in The Revenant. Diaz reposted an older photo with DiCaprio at a high rollers casino card table with the caption reading, “Can’t wait to see this new movie #leonardodicaprio” The Revenant, DiCaprio’s latest film was released on Friday and came in at number 2 in the box office behind the new Star Wars film.

It was expected that the NSAC would give their final ruling on their settlement talks with Nick Diaz today during their hearing, and they delivered! Ariel Helwani is reporting that Diaz’s suspension has been shortened to 18 months, and his fine had been reduced to $100,000. Given the reduced suspension, Diaz is eligible to fight August 1st of this year.
