Max Holloway vows to ‘remind the world who I am’ against Conor McGregor after UFC 329

Max Holloway is looking to remind everyone just how good he is.
Holloway is set to headline UFC 329 on Saturday against Conor McGregor at welterweight. The Hawaiian is coming off a disappointing one-sided loss to Charles Oliveira to lose his BMF belt, as he was taken down and controlled for five rounds.
Following the frustrating loss, Holloway got back into the gym, and he wants to remind everyone just how good he is on Saturday at UFC 329.
“All you have to do is win in this sport and win excitingly,” Holloway said to the UFC. “I’m going out there, I’m going to put on a show. We are in the entertainment business; we are prizefighters. I’m going to go out there and remind the world who I am. Who knows, I have history with the 155lbs champ, and everybody keeps saying the 170lbs champ for Conor. So, if I just fit myself right in there, it would be nice.”

Max Holloway believes that with a win over Conor McGregor at UFC 329, he can be in the title picture at lightweight or welterweight. Yet, before he can start thinking about that, he will need to beat the Irishman, which he knows will be easier said than done.
Yet, Holloway has confidence that he will get his hand raised and remind everyone that he’s still a true title contender.
“Mystic Max is right, and we onto the next one. I get to put my name in the history books come July 11 and remind everybody. When it comes to me, they keep forgetting. One loss in this sport is so crazy to the world. Just have to remind the people,” Holloway said.
Holloway enters UFC 329 with a record of 27-9 and is coming off a loss to Charles Oliveira. Before that, he had a win over Dustin Poirier to defend his BMF belt.
